While acknowledging that there is no “easy” path to a Concacaf Champions League trophy, it’s hard to deny that the Seattle Sounders ended up with a pretty enviable road. While CD Olimpia are no slouch and there are plenty of quality teams along the way, the Sounders also have the weakest MLS team on their side of the bracket and won’t have to face a Liga MX opponent until at least the semifinals. Hard to draw it up any better than that.
Jeremiah, Tim and Ari discuss all of this as well as discussing the very fake choice of winning CCL at the cost of missing the playoffs. Enjoy!
