Poem by OBIGOD CHIDI CECE
I am proud of the man you’ve become
Seeing how far the little boy has come
There was a time I nearly gave up on you
But who else could have achieved this except you.
Back then you were a cub playing like a kitten
But years have turned you to a lion that can’t be eaten.
People now look and admire your golden mane
Not knowing you were once a star that waned.
When youths clamour for the glamour of your glory
Do them a favour by telling them the agony of your story.
