Someone Who Will Love You in all Your Damaged Glory by Raphael Bob-Waksberg
I gather that Bob-Waksberg is well known for a cartoon show I have never seen. You may expect something particular from him because of the show, but I came to this collection with a clean slate.
I say this because these stories are great, regardless of any other work or whatever you are expecting. Really great.
OK, a lot of it is dark, as you might grok from the title. There’s a lot of damaged glory here, but a lot of love, too.
And it’s really funny. In a dark, damaged, loving way.
I can’t think of more to say.
